Shimeng Yang is a Lab Coordinator at the INSIGHT Lab.

Shimeng is currently studying in Interdisciplinary Studies in Human Development at the University of Pennsylvania. Her research interest is in metacognition, self-regulation learning, cultural perspective on metacognitive development; community-based intervention; (DEI) diversity, equity, and inclusion; early childhood education. In the future, she is interested in conducting research-based intervention to help certain communities really grow, which might lead either PhD programs or doing research at school or some organizations.
